I feel everything worked out well on the sale of my house.  I would not have been able to fix up and sell the house in the time you two were able to do it.  It would have taken me a year or so to accomplish what you did in five months.  I'm also happy that I received the list price in these slower times and that the house was bought by a family that wants to live there as opposed to investors that buy just to make a profit.

It was just 3 months ago, we met with Mini & David Troyer to get their advice on remodeling our existing home vs. buying a new home & selling our existing one. Next step was selling our home. After such a pleasant experience, it was a no brainer to choose Mini & David to sell our home. Given the craziness of the market, we did not want a huge gap between buying & selling. Mini & David discussed options and we settled on an aggressive 14 day sale process. I was just amazed with the professionalism of the entire group. Allison, our project manager managed every detail from inspections to handyman fixes to painting to staging. Mini & David gave us a full view of market conditions to arrive at a right pricing strategy, we listed the home on Thursday-Sunday backed by a fantastic marketing campaign. We recently moved into a new Sunnyvale home that Mini and Kuljeet helped us find, and we are super happy with it! We interviewed and met with 4 Los Altos buying agents, talked to references, and while several seemed experienced, smart and knowledgeable, we ultimately went with Mini Kalkat for a couple reasons:

1) She worked harder for us than anyone: Mini was the most responsive and most proactive - giving us the heads up on listings early, making calls to check in with our financial, loan brokers, closing company, termite companies to speed things up - you name it! We respected her tenacity, drive and hunger. This is partly her own work ethic and partly because she doesn't take on a ton of clients at once. She will get the job done, and very efficiently, so be ready!

2) Mini helped us find the information we needed to make the right decisions with confidence. She not only has the reputable Troyer Group behind her, but she's also very resourceful, experienced and knowledgeable in her own right, and when she didn't know the answer, she always was happy to make a call or pull in others in her network to help us get the answers or think through different alternatives, remodels, etc.

3) Mini takes the time to really understand and listen. At the start of our process, we were a bit overwhelmed, we changed our priorities midway, but Mini was there for us at every step, being supportive, and really listening/decoding to what my husband and I were each wanting. Never did she pressure us into doing something we weren't comfortable with. She was a great advocate and true advisor throughout this journey!

Mini has a deep understanding of the Bay Area real estate market. As a first time home buyer, I was unsure which city I should pick, what type of home etc. Mini helped me figure this out by listening & really understanding my goals and giving me valuable insights such as supply trends, possible regulation changes etc. She also introduced me to folks who'd purchased homes from her (and the Troyer group more broadly) to get a different perspective on our target areas.

We worked with Mini and David for the purchase of a house in a crazy seller’s market, where everything was going way over the asking price.

Very stressful for us buyers! We spent a lot of time with both of them, visiting houses and getting a feel for different neighborhoods and for the market. We tend to over analyze and need a lot of time to make decisions, and we didn’t feel rushed by them.

Mini and David were most helpful in all respects and we feel very happy with the house we got. It’s a fixer upper but they provided contacts for contractors who were able to give us an estimate on the repairs before we made an offer on the house. They also had lots of local contacts when we wanted to learn more about schools and neighborhoods. They were very fast in responding to all our requests, flexible with scheduling meetings with us, phone meetings and in person, etc. Mini and David both chimed in with their expertise at the right moments to make sure all our questions were answered. They kept us updated at every step of the way during the offer process and afterward during escrow. They even helped give us critical advice on selling our old house, where they were not formally involved, but they were still very helpful.

The best part about working with Mini was that she is amazingly resourceful and could rope in experts within minutes, to help with assessment of property condition, review of reports, and any other aspects. She was able to gather all the information and we worked together to put the bid within a few hours.

2. Mini was also very straightforward and honest about her assessment of a property and this was immensely helpful for us in our decision making process.

3. She was always available to help us (several times going out of her way), over late evenings on the phone to discuss our thoughts and plan for bidding. Buying a house can be very stressful, however Mini’s positive attitude made us feel really good about the whole process and we did not feel stressed to make a decision at any point.

4. Besides being a great relator, Mini has very good contacts for people specializing in many related aspects of owning a home for e.g. interior decoration, renovations, fix-ups, home inspections etc. Thus she has been our go to person for advice on many things beyond just the purchase of the home.

If you want to work with someone who has great connections, is very experienced in real estate, professional and has great people skills, and more important than all, someone who is a very nice person and has a high work ethic, then you should work with Mini Kalkat to buy your new home! We could not be happier with our experience with her and give her our highest recommendation!

Mini sold our house during one of the most challenging times imaginable: the COVID-19 pandemic. That in itself should say a lot.

She found us buyers who were ready to make an offer without having to "go to market." In a highly uncertain market, this saved us a lot of time, stress and expense. It was only through Mini's contacts and familiarity with the South Bay market, that this was possible.
